Black Enterprise
Earl Graves Sr. started Black Enterprise to chronicle and teach the rise of Black business in America. He treated entrepreneurship as a civil-rights project — capital and ownership as the next chapter of the movement.
The annual BE 100s list of top Black-owned firms is the closest thing to an official record of Black corporate power in this country.
